Advocate Suman Dhungana serves as the Managing Partner at Sherpa Law Associates, where he brings a robust portfolio of experience in corporate law, commercial litigation, tax advisory, and regulatory compliance. With a proven track record of representing clients before courts and regulatory authorities across Nepal, he is recognized for his strategic legal acumen, analytical rigor, and client-focused advocacy.

Mr. Dhungana holds a licensed advocate registered with the Nepal Bar Council. Before establishing Sherpa Law Associates, he held key legal positions at prominent firms. Throughout his practice, he has advised and represented clients on complex legal matters such as tax disputes, corporate governance, contractual negotiations, and statutory compliance.

Renowned for his precision in legal drafting, persuasive litigation skills, and deep understanding of Nepal’s legal and regulatory frameworks, Mr. Dhungana is dedicated to delivering timely, practical, and result-oriented legal solutions. Rosy Shrestha is a licensed attorney with extensive experience advising clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, hydropower, aviation, telecommunications, information technology, and banking serves as Senior Associate at Sherpa Law Associates. Her legal practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, including corporate structuring, due diligence, foreign investment, and commercial litigation.

Rosy has provided legal counsel to both domestic and international companies on issues involving labor law, foreign investment regulations, contract law, e-commerce, and international trade. In addition to her legal practice, she serves as the Managing Director of the Centre for Business Law Academics, Counsel and Chambers (BLACC).

She holds a B.A. LL.B. from Kathmandu School of Law, Nepal, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Northwestern University in Chicago, United States.

Prajwol Bickram Rana is a Associate at Sherpa Law Associates, where he contributes a multidisciplinary perspective rooted in law, public policy, and governance.

Mr. Rana has previously served as the Personal Officer to the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, where he engaged directly in policy formulation and legal advisory at the ministerial level. With a strong interest in constitutional law, human rights, climate change, and public governance, Mr. Rana brings a nuanced understanding of the intersection between legal frameworks and political processes. His experience in both government and civic sectors allows him to approach legal challenges with strategic insight and policy-driven analysis.

Nirwan Jung Karki is a practising attorney who serves as Senior Associate at Sherpa Law Associates. With a specialisation in corporate and commercial law, Nirwan excels in managing both contentious and non-contentious matters in civil law, particularly focusing on business law and dispute resolution. He brings extensive experience in legal consulting across diverse industries, including hospitality and tourism, construction and infrastructure, real estate, government contracts, telecommunications, information technology, e-commerce, banking, finance, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Nirwan's practice lies in consulting, early dispute management, contract and document management, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions, as well as providing legal representation in Nepalese courts, including the Supreme Court and arbitral tribunals.

Santosh Pokharel is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with a strong background in finance, accounting, and taxation. He completed his CA back in 2021 and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) degree from Tribhuvan University (TU) in 2022. Santosh previously gained valuable experience at a Nepal-based company affiliated with an International Accounting Firm . Currently, he provides comprehensive finance, accounting, and taxation services to US-based clients for a US-based company. Santosh also serves as a financial consultant to Sherpa Law Associates, offering expert financial guidance to support their clients' diverse needs.

Nirab Gyawali is an experienced legal practitioner specializing in project finance, infrastructure development, and public-private partnerships (PPPs), with a focus on Nepal’s renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. He currently serves as a Legal and Institutional Expert at the Office of the Investment Board Nepal, where he advises on matters relating to foreign direct investment (FDI), public procurement, and cross-border transactional frameworks. His expertise includes the structuring and legal review of project financing arrangements and concession agreements, particularly for hydropower and solar energy initiatives, drawing on a solid foundation in both domestic and international legal standards.

Over the course of more than ten years in legal practice, Nirab has worked with leading law firms such as Pioneer Law Associates and Neupane Law Associates, where he counseled multinational corporations and state-owned entities on complex infrastructure projects, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters. His notable contributions include drafting model PPP by-laws, supporting the development of Nepal’s model Bilateral Investment Treaty, and advising on anti-money laundering (AML), taxation, and compliance issues. His practice also spans litigation, employment law, and digital economy services, reflecting his versatility as a legal advisor.

Nirab earned his LL.B from Kathmandu School of Law and is currently pursuing an LL.M at Peking University’s School of Transnational Law, where he has maintained a distinguished academic record. He has published scholarly and policy-oriented works on trade, investment, and China-Nepal legal relations and has received recognition in national and international moot court competitions and legal research forums. Fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi, with working knowledge of Mandarin and ongoing studies in French, he is well-equipped to engage in legal advisory work on a regional and global scale, particularly in investment and infrastructure law.

Ashika Chapagain is an Associate at Sherpa Law Associates and a licensed advocate with broad experience across commercial, international, labour, family, fintech, and intellectual property law. Her practice focuses on legal advisory, contract drafting, corporate compliance, and legislative analysis. She has advised and represented clients in the finance, technology, labor, and private sectors, providing clear and dependable legal support.
